Limited to 2,500 Pieces. ORIGINS: Mules are the result of crossing a male donkey and a female horse, so no direct country of origin applies. However, donkeys are thought to have been domesticated around 4000 BC in Egypt. BREED PROFILE: The crossing of a male donkey and a female horse is called a mule. The crossing of a female donkey and a male horse is called a binny. Mules generally have a donkey head and more resemble a horse in the hindquarters. Mules were used primarily as pack and work animals and did much to shape history with their diligent service. They can excel at a variety of disciplines including racing. CHARACTERISTICS: They are exceptionally strong and have good stamina. They usually have good temperaments although they can be very different from horses. They are also known to be great “watch” animals and will fight off anything they deem to be a threat, including dogs, coyotes and even mountain lions. Measures 9" long.
